Laboratory health and safety manual

The manual was developed by Environmental Health and Safety Services (EHSS) based on the Laboratory Health and Safety Manual from the University of Western Ontario, and in consultation with faculty and staff in the Faculties of Science and Engineering, the Department of Physical Plant, and the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee. The Laboratory Health and Safety Manual/Chemical Hygiene Plan is reviewed annually by the ICSC and updated as necessary. The purpose of this plan is to provide a framework for recognizing, evaluating, and controlling hazards associated with laboratory operations. Implementation of this plan depends on the cooperation of department chairpersons. Part 1 - General Lab Safety Plan - revised 05/28/ Part 1 - Section 1 - Laboratory Safety Plan Introduction. 3 4 5.
